With all that is going on at present, it is our intention (staff health allowing) to remain open and continue to provide a full service throughout this pandemic.
For many, the buying of food is a worry which is why we are putting the following to options in place to allow purchasing from us but remaining clear from contact.
Please phone all orders in so we can assist with selection and inform of any items not available due to shortages
1 Call and collect.
Give us a call on 01905 621954 and from the form on the front page of our website send us a list of what we can get together for you leaving all relevant details inc address, tel no as well as the car reg no you will be collecting the food in.
We will then give you a call when the order is ready and take payment over the phone.
When you arrive to collect park up next to the polytunnel in the car park, give us a call on your mobile and we will come out and put it in your boot.
2 Deliveries.
We are able to do some deliveries in the local area so if leaving the house is a problem again give us a call with your food list address and tel no. We will again phone you back to take payment and give you an indication of the time of delivery.
On delivery, we will drop it outside your door, ring the bell to let you know it has arrived and walk away to avoid contact (where possible). If this is not possible we can discuss other options when taking payment on the phone.
3 Early Opening
We are also starting an early opening hour 7 – 8 am on Tuesdays and Wednesday focused (but not enforced) for the more elderly and vulnerable to be able to come in and shop at a quieter time. There is likely to be just one member of staff on duty to minimise contact but we aim to provide as full a service to you in this hour as we can. We have recently (to help people returning from work later) also opened an extra hour on Thursday evenings until 6 pm, this is not an official quiet hour but at the moment as less promoted is also a time when we just have one member of staff serving and currently have fewer customers.
